John Brookes MBE FSGD has designed and built well over 1000 gardens during a career spanning over 60 years.  Based at Denmans, his acclaimed world famous garden in West Sussex
he is as active as ever and runs an extremely busy design practice, creating gardens large and small, all over the UK and abroad.

Peter Gillespie has worked for John Brookes for the last fifteen years, as his assistant and as a garden designer. He designs small to medium sized gardens and has worked on projects throughout the UK and world-wide.

Gwendolyn van Paasschen has worked with John in the United States on a number of projects since 1998. Frequently at Denmans to help with a number of ongoing projects, she lives in Washington, DC where she designs and is the garden correspondent for the Georgetown Dish, an online daily news and entertainment site offering sparkling coverage of politics, business, real estate, the social scene, the arts, gardening, and dining.

Charlotte Weychan has worked and travelled with John Brookes since 2011. In addition to her public relations work for John she maintains the acclaimed blog, The Galloping Gardener and also works in India where she has founded the Raven Charitable Trust - a non-government, not-for-profit organisation with a mission to provide free medical care and a long-term Health Literacy programme for village people in Rajasthan.
